Trip to Salzburg & Hallstat, Austria =)

Salzburg & Hallstat 

Date : 28 - 30 January 2015

Early in the morning, we make our move from Vienna to Salzburg on 08:56am by train. We arrived in Hauptbahnof, Salzburg at 11:48am (roughly 3 hours to reach Salzburg). The ticket price is €40. my travelmates. smua best2 =)

Once arrived in Salzburg, we took bus number 130 to our hotel ~ Meininger Hotel, Salzburg. We bought daily Salzburg ticket at €3.40. 

'With this ticket, enjoy unlimited travel for 24 hours from the time of first use all throughout the Inner Zone of Salzburg. Your trip must have come to an end before the 24-hour period is over. For example: From 13:17 on Wednesday until latest 13:16 on Thursday. The 24-Hour ticket is transferrable. Subsequent proof of the ticket in case of ticket inspection is not accepted.'

Our hotel is quite strategic and accessible to anywhere.

This hotel cost us £25.67 each person for 2 days. We stay here 3 days 2 night before we flying back to London.

DAY 1:

Once arrived at hotel roughly 13:00pm, we relax for a while before we make a move for Salzburg self tour. After solat jamak zuhur and asar, we do have Nasi briyani ayam as our lunch. We cooked all of our Brahim's stock since Salzburg is the last trip all of us together....

Since we have bought daily ticket, we do tour Salzburg from 1 place to another.

After all, last but not least, kitorang main snowwwwww... yehaaaaaaaa!!!

Lastly for the day, we take hot choc to warm up our body after freezing with snowwww... =)

DAY 2: Tour to Hallstat

Early in the morning 29 January 2015, we do start our journey as early as 7:15am. From the hotel, we take bus number 4 to Hauptbahanof station (roughly 15 minutes from Meininger Hotel) to Hallstat. From Hauptbahnof, we took bus number 150 to Hallstat. we take returned ticket €28.40 which cover bus to Hallstat and any other bus in Hallstat area. 

The journey to Hallstat took about 2 hours by bus. So, we are able to take a nap in the bus. The bus stop at Bad Ischl station, and we need to take train from OBB railway Bad Ischl station direct to Hallstat station.

Snow battle at Hallstat

Once arrived at Hallstat train station, we have to take boat to Hallstat. It took about 7 minutes from Hallstat train station to Hallstat.  You have to pay €2.50 single ticket.

Hallstatt, Upper Austria, is a village in the Salzkammergut, a region in Austria. It is located near the Hallstätter See. At the 2001 census, it had 946 inhabitants. Alexander Scheutz has been mayor of Hallstatt since 2009.

The view in Hallstat is super duper awesome! Subhanallah.... My eyes couldn't blink to see how beautiful the view is!... The creation of Allah never fails to amaze me... Alhamdulillah and syukur to Allah of giving me this opportunity to see the amazing and beautiful creation of Him. Who knows I am here. I never dream of being here until He reward me this. Thank you Allah =)

Once done in Hallstat, we make our move to Woofgang. We take the boat to Hallstat train station and going back to Bad Ischl station to take bus to Woofgang. To reach there, we have to stop at 1 station  (forgot the name of the place). From there, we take bus number 546 (if i am not mistaken) to Woofgang. Since the bus come late, we have ample time (about 1/2 hour) to play with snow!!... it is a great experience to get a snow battle with all my travlemates. Its awesome!!!! =)

 

 

Definitely I will miss them later. We are like  family. Thanx Allah of giving me them to gain experience and learn so many things. =(

Dunno why but i think there are chemistry among all of us eventhough we meet less than 6 months.. huhuhu

I do believe, He took something from me but he reward me more than I need to replace what i lost. Alhamdulillah......

Unfortunately, once we arrive at Woofgang, most all of the shops are close. Then we make our move to our hotel... its so tired. Tomorrow we will back to our reality life to London. and sending them back to Malaysia for good. It is such heartbroken to say goodbye to them. But I know He plans better than me. Thanx Allah for all of this opportunity. Alhamdulillah....



DAY 3: Back to Reality ~ fly back to London

Date: 30 January 2015

Early in the morning as early as 7:00am we make our move to Salzburg airport. From our hotel, we do take bus no 2 direct to Salzburg Airport. Just pay €2.10 to the bus driver. our flight supposed to be at 9:30am.

Unfortunately, our flight delay to 12:30pm due to bad weather.

Bored of waiting about 3 hours!! huhu

 

Finally, its a wrap up all of our holiday together. hopefully, Allah will reward me again this kind of opportunity =)
